Nusa Dua was established in the 1970s in Bali, Indonesia to provide world-class facilities within the island. It is an enclave of four- and five-star hotels, with an 18-hole golf course and a retail village. In its concept development, Nusa Dua prioritized eco-friendly approaches towards the natural physical surroundings, and preservation of the sociocultural setting. Environmental concerns are also prioritized as demonstrated by the wastewater treatment system.
